			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Italian Sausage Sandwich with peppers and onions is a favorite sandwich of mine. While it&#8217;s easy to whip up a simple one, taking the time to make really tasty one with fresh ingredients is worth your time.</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients </strong></p>
<p>1 1/2 pounds Italian sausage<br />
2 fresh green peppers, sliced<br />
1/2 cup water<br />
2 fresh onions, sliced<br />
2 tablespoons olive oil<br />
2 fresh baked long sandwich rolls</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>Place sausage in hot skillet and brown on all sides. Add the water, cover and let steam for 5<br />
to 8 minutes or until sausages are no longer pink in the middle. Remove to plate. Drain off any<br />
remaining water from skillet.</p>
<p>Add olive oil to same skillet along with peppers and onions. Cook over medium heat until soft,<br />
about 20 minutes.</p>
<p>Place sausage in a roll with peppers and onions. Serve. Yum!!</p>

<p>Beat eggs until foamy; add milk, 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese, the sausage and bread crumbs. Mix well.</p>
<p>Fill bottom of bread loaf with mixture. Sprinkle remaining cheeses over the top of  mixture. Pack well. Cover with bread top and wrap in foil.</p>
<p>Bake at 300 degrees F for 30 minutes or until cheeses melt and seals the loaf together.</p>
<p>To serve, cut into slices.</p>

<p>Cut lengthwise around middle of avocado; twist avocado to separate halves; strike pit with a knife<br />
blade to remove; scoop out pulp with a spoon.</p>
<p>In a small bowl, mash avocado.</p>
<p>Spread mashed avocado on cut sides of rolls, dividing evenly. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. On bottom halves, layer sliced chicken, lettuce, tomato, black beans and jalapeño pepper slices. Firmly press tops of rolls on tortas.</p>
